奧巴馬被疑信用卡欺詐下館子刷卡遭拒

　　Speaking at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, President BarackObama on Friday mentioned this recent encounter. He attendees his credit cardhad recently been declined at a restaurant, forcing the First Lady to pick upthe tab.

　　“Rich, I should mention, by the way, that I went to a restaurant up in NewYork when I was there during the General Assembly, and my credit card wasrejected,” Obama said, referring to CFPB Director Richard Cordray.

　　Press reports indicate the restaurant was Estela, rated one of the best newrestaurants of 2014.

　　“It turned out I guess I don t use it enough. So they thought there wassome fraud going on,” Obama said.

　　The president said he turned to his wife to pay the tab.

　　“Fortunately, Michelle had hers. And I was trying to explain to thewaitress, no, I really think that I ve been paying my bills.”

　　美國總統奧巴馬在17日與消費者金融保護署的職員的對話中回憶起上個月在紐約吃飯時，談到自己想刷信用卡卻并未成功。

　　“我想應該是平常我不常用，然而，銀行認為這筆消費可能是信用卡欺詐。不過還好，米歇爾有信用卡，我還費了半天勁兒跟侍者解釋，我真的按時償還信用卡賬單。”奧巴馬表示。

　　時值9月份，奧巴馬總統因為召開聯合國大會而趕來紐約。在紐約期間與美國第一夫人米歇爾在曼哈頓下城區的Estela餐廳里用餐。通過一張餐廳發布在網上的點餐記錄，可以發現，奧巴馬總統當晚點的餐是歐芹醬配意大利起司(Burrata with salsaverde)以及碳烤面包(charred bread)，以及伴有胡桃子與小銀魚的苣菜沙拉(endive salad with walnut andanchovies)。

　　這家餐廳是倉南山餐廳(Blue Hill at StoneBarns)的一位前職員所開。而奧巴馬一家人在這個暑期剛剛在這家餐廳出席他們的御用大廚的婚禮。
